Caswell Resort Hotel is located on beautiful Lake Bernard, one of the world’s largest island-free lakes. Well-known for our year-round activities, this is the perfect place for all seasons. Caswell occupies the original site of the historical Queen’s Hotel, established in 1888. The Queen’s Hotel, destroyed by fire in 1890, was rebuilt only to be lost by fire again in 1919. The building, which was rebuilt again, is the structure we occupy today. Previously known as the Hotel Bernard, it operated as such until Mr. Caswell purchased the site in the 1940’s after the Second World War. It has since been known as the Caswell Resort Hotel.
Offering a variety of accommodations, the Caswell has lodging to suit almost everyone’s needs. On site we have Stoney Lake Cafe, our licensed restaurant with patio and The CasBar (opened seasonally). Additionally, there is an indoor pool and sauna available to make your stay that much more enjoyable.
